Coffee Shops in Chattanooga



    1. Milk & Honey:


 This shop is located in Chattanooga’s North Shore neighborhood. They are known for their homemade gelato, but they have a generous coffee and espresso menu with several sweet variations like salted caramel and Nutella lattes. Their breakfast and lunch menu is served all day and offers vegan options.  



    1. Mad Priest Coffee:



    1. This shop opened recently in 2015 and is located on Broad Street. They offer coffee from South America, Africa, and Asia and have won awards for specialty coffee. They offer bulk items and a subscription service to enjoy their blends at home. The shop has breakfast, lunch, and salads and offers vegan and gluten-free options.  




    1. Frothy Monkey:



This Nashville-based company has a location in Chattanooga next to the Choo Choo on Market Street. They have a high-quality menu, offering gluten-free options and a kid’s menu. They serve hot and iced coffee, espresso, macchiato, and lattes. They also have signature coffee drinks and tea. Their shop offers coffee in bulk to enjoy at home and has a subscription service and variety packs.  










Cadence Coffee Company





    1. This shop is located in Downtown Chattanooga off Market Street. They offer specialty coffee, light breakfast options, and several baked goods like banana bread and coffee cake. They sell coffee in single and five-gallon containers for catering needs. Cadence also rents out their space for special events and can hold 75 people. They have a partnership with The Copper Quail to help you design your event and offer vintage furniture rentals.  








    1. Velo Coffee Roasters



    1. This shop is located on East Main Street in Chattanooga’s Southside Historic District. They serve imported coffee and sell it in bulk to enjoy at home. They also offer subscription services. Their menu offers hot and iced coffee, cappuccino, espresso, and latte options. This is a good choice for anyone with a taste for exotic brews. 








    1. Mean Mug Coffee House



    1. This shop has locations in the Southside and North Shore neighborhoods. They offer a full espresso menu, drip coffee, and Kyoto-style cold brews. They have a full lunch and breakfast menu that features vegan options. They also offer coffee alternatives like teas, hot chocolate, and superfood lattes like matcha




    1. Rembrandt’s Coffee House



This European-style café is located in the Bluff View Art District. Their menu features house-roasted coffees, hand-dipped chocolates, hand-made pastries, and custom cakes. They offer continental and hot breakfast options including French toast, egg dishes, biscuits, and bagels. If you are looking for a romantic atmosphere for lunch, they have an outdoor dining spot and a full menu of soups, salads, and sandwiches.  










    1. Stone Cup Café:



    1. Stone Cup opened their first shop in Chattanooga’s Riverview Community in the late 1990s, but they have moved their shop to Chattanooga’s North Shore overlooking Coolidge Park. They use exclusively coffee from Stone Cup Roasting Company, which is locally owned. Their menu features a full coffee menu, breakfast dishes, sandwiches and wraps, and baked goods by the dozen.

    1. Wildflower Tea Shop & Apothecary



    1. This shop has an extensive selection of blended teas with specialty blends of black, green, and white leaves.  Their menu also includes oolong, chai, and herbal blends. You can purchase by the cup or order a personal or group teapot to enjoy in their ambient Southside shop. They also sell essential oils, tinctures, and beauty products from local vendors.  




    1. The Hot Chocolatier



This European Gourmet-inspired shop is located on the Southside across from the Chattanooga Choo Choo. This shop is famous for its artisan chocolates and showy confections. They also sell mixes of their hot chocolate to enjoy at home and offer a cake menu for special occasions. They serve coffee and tea, but people visit for the hot chocolate menu. They have a variety of specialty hot chocolate, including spicy versions, lavender vanilla, and salted caramel. If you have a picky sweet tooth, this shop is a great choice for some of the city’s finest chocolate.
