I would have to say the Ringgold High School is an average school. With a mix of good students and teachers with those that are bad. I have found that speaking to the teachers and principle for the most part will not get you far. I had to go to the school board to get a little bit of resolution to problems. Then again the school board said they would get back in touch with me and they have yet to do so (5 months so far). AP classes are taught but the teachers are not prepared, for the most part. They even canceled AP Chemistry after 1 year. The chorus is a joke (but promises to be better next year), band pretty good. Athletics on par. I get the excuse that there is not enough money to get enough teachers. My wife and I have both volunteered to help but the school acts like they don't want any outside help. I have 2 children attending right now. If we could afford a private school, that's where they would go.

I think that RHS is one of the best schools in the Tennesee valley. I have had two children graduate from Ringgold and go on to further their careers in college. The teachers they had were fantastic. The band program, chorus and most sports are by far the best in the area. The teachers were great and the staff was wonderful.

I attend Ringgold High School, as far as safety goes, it is not very safe. I have a child that I refuse to send to the free daycare at Ringgold High because I am concerned abou the bomb threats and shootings. I do not appriciate either that my principle chooses to ignore issues and pretend they are not real. However, the education at Ringgold is exceptionally good. There are a few questionable teachers, but there are those everywhere.

We moved from Chattanooga to get our kids out of the Hamilton Co. school system. We have children in Ringgold Elem, Middle, and High Schools and have found all three to be excellent. The band program at the Middle and High school is excellent. The number of children that receive college scholarships from the band program is amazing. As a parent who attended a private school, the academics are just as challenging and prepatory for college as any private or other high school.

Ringgold is not a very good school. The quality is not very good, and the same goes for academic standards. It seems to me that the students can slack off as they please and still make a passing grade. My child has been going to Ringgold for a little while now and, so far, I am not content with the level that she is placed on. Also, the safety of this school is an issue. There are students here who are violent, vulgar, and reckless who aren t even worried about getting in trouble because they know there won t be a severe enough punishment to do them any harm. There is also theft that goes almost not taken care of or with very little punishment. Overall, Ringgold High School is not a very well-kept school and the academic standards fall

I had two children who attended RHS and I was not impressed with the qualilty or leadership at the school.

The academics at Ringgold far exceed many of the surrounding schools. It is, however, completely up to the student/parents whether or not they take advantage of the opportunities available. Sure, if you take all regular classes, you're going to hear a lot of goofing off and have a lot of distractions, but the AP classes really prepare students for the test and college. The only complaint I can think of is the overpopulation of students. The county is already working towards correcting that problem, with the building of Heritage High School and the renovations scheduled for this summer for RHS.

I think that Ringgold High School is one of the best schools in N.Georgia. It offers a wide variety of classes and gives students a chance for both a social life and a academic career.

I believe Ringgold High School provides the opportunity for a quality education for all her students with qualified teachers and ample extra curricular activities for leadership opportunities. I have two very succesful professional daughters who got their education at Ringgold High School. It's there if you want it.

My daughter has gone to Ringgold since the 9th grade and she is now a junior and she loves this school dearly. She has met some of the wonderful people there. I love the school because there is not the violence you her of at many of the other schools you hear about. The faculty is very helpful to the students and keeps them very informed of what is going on in the school.
